Ingredients
- 1 lb. tilapia
- 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. vegetable oil
- 4 reduced calorie hamburger buns
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
Instructions
- Pulse the fish in a food processor until just chopped.
- Combine the fish with the breadcrumbs, egg, egg white, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, basil, and onion powder.
- Form into patties. If needed place the mixture in the fridge for 10 minutes before forming patties. It will help them stay together. Brush burgers with vegetable oil.
- Cook in a medium hot skillet for about 4 minutes per side. Serve on toasted buns with avocado and your favorite burger toppings.
