Tilapia Fish Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. tilapia
  • 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 4 reduced calorie hamburger buns
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 cucumber, sliced

Instructions 

  1. Pulse the fish in a food processor until just chopped.
  2. Combine the fish with the breadcrumbs, egg, egg white, mustard, garlic, salt, pepper, paprika, basil, and onion powder.
  3. Form into patties. If needed place the mixture in the fridge for 10 minutes before forming patties. It will help them stay together. Brush burgers with vegetable oil.
  4. Cook in a medium hot skillet for about 4 minutes per side. Serve on toasted buns with avocado and your favorite burger toppings.
