INGREDIENTS
Fries
- 8 medium yukon gold potatoes peeled and rinsed
- 2 tablespoon vegetable oil or any neutral oil
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅓ cup Japanese mayo or sub with regular mayo
- 4 sheets seaweed snack or sub with Korean seasoned seaweed flakes
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F.
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice peeled potatoes into ½-inch thick fries. Spread them on the lined baking tray. Add vegetable oil, garlic powder and salt. Massage the seasoning into your fries with clean hands.
- Bake for 35 minutes total, flipping the fries over half way.
- Meanwhile, cut your seaweed snack into thin strips with clean scissors.
- Transfer baked fries to a large serving bowl. Season with sesame oil, sesame seeds, seaweed strips and serve with Japanese mayo. Enjoy while hot!
