Roghani Kulcha

Ingredients

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 cup or to taste sugar
  • 5-6 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 Pinch salt
  • 1 Egg

Cooking Instructions

  1. Add sugar, oil and fennel seeds in warm milk, mix till sugar dissolve.
  2. Now mix salt, baking powder in flour then knead with milk mixture. Leave to set for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Cut this flour ball in 6 small pieces. First roll the flour ball with one hand and knife. You can see in the video attached below. Then press this paira with your fist shown in second video.
  4. Press this paira with 3 fingers. Follow third video.
  5. Then mark designs by using spoon, fork or bottle cap.
  6. Beat the egg and apply egg wash on each kulcha.
  7. In a preheated oven bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
  8. Serve with tea, enjoy
