Moong Dal Oats Waffles

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Green Moong Dal
  • 1/2 cup Yellow Moong Dal
  • 1/2 cup rolled Oats
  • 2 Tsp Rava
  • 1 Tsp Black salt
  • 1/2 Tsp pepper powder
  • 1 Tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Eno
  • Ghee or oil for greasing

Cooking Instructions

  1. Take yellow and green moong dal in a bowl, wash them with water and soak them in water for one to two hours.
  2. Take rolled oats in a bowl and add 1/2 cup of water to it and let the oats soak for ten minutes.
  3. Drain all the water from the dal and take it in a mixer jar and add soaked oats, salt and black salt as per taste.
  4. Then add pepper powder and roasted cumin powder to it and grind everything properly.
  5. Now add rava to it and mix it well and transfer it to a bowl.
  6. Grease the waffle maker with ghee or oil. After that, as much as batter comes in the waffle maker, add eno to the batter and make waffles. This is how all the waffles are to be prepared.
  7. I have served these waffles with Special Chutney. It tastes very good with this chutney.
  8. Moong Dal Oats Waffles are the perfect recipe to make during some special occassions.
