Korean spinach salad

Ingredients

  • 250 g spinach
  • 1 tsp spring onion
  • 1/2 tsp garlic
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp soy sauce

Cooking Instructions

  1. Wash and trim spinach off its root.
  2. Add 5 cups of water in a saucepan and bring it to the boil. Once boiling add the spinach and leave it for 30 seconds.
  3. Drain and run the boiled spinach in cold water for a minute or two.
  4. Squeeze the water out of the spinach and leave aside.
  5. Prepare the salad dressing: Chop spring onion and mince garlic. Roast sesame seeds and mix in sesame oil, soy sauce and salt.
  6. Add the salad dressing to the spinach.
