Korean Spicy Braised Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 large potatoes
- 600-700g chicken
- 2 large onions
- 5 garlic cloves
- 1 heap tbsp chilli pepper powder
- 1 heap tbsp korean pepper paste
- 2 heap tbsp sugar
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
Instructions
- Preparation
- Mince the garlic
- Cut the onions into small cubes
- Peel and cut the potatoes into 3cm pieces
- In a separate bowl, mix the garlic, sugar, soy sauce Korean pepper paste and Korean chilli pepper powder
- Cooking
- At medium heat, place the chicken on the bottom of the pan.
- Add the onions and potatoes
- Add the seasoning mixture
- Place the lid on the pot and let the dish simmer for 20 minutes.
- After 20 minutes, stir the stew.
- Place the lid back on the pot and let the dish simmer for a further 20 minutes.
