French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 3 tsp. butter
  • 6 slices thick bread
  • 1 tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs in a bowl.
  2. Add in vanilla, milk, salt, and flour to the bowl and continue mixing. You can use a mixer instead of a whisk if you’d like.
  3. Heat a large skillet on medium heat.
  4. Add 1 tsp of butter and coat the pan.
  5. Dip bread in the batter and place in the skillet.
  6. Cook on both sides until brown for about 2-3 minutes per side.
  7. Serve with powdered sugar.
