2/3 cup hemp milk (or almond or rice milk, plus more if needed)
1 cup baby spinach leaves (packed)
1 frozen banana (roughly chopped)
1/2 avocado (peeled)
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
8 ice cubes
2 tsp. honey (optional)
Directions
In order, combine hemp milk, spinach, banana, avocado, lemon juice and ice in blender jar of KitchenAid® Pro Line® Blender. Secure lid and set blender to Smoothie setting. Blend until machine turns itself off.
Alternatively, combine ingredients in blender as directed, secure lid and turn dial to Speed 1. Slowly increase speed to high (Speed 10 or 11). Blend until completely smooth, about 1 minute. If necessary, scrape down sides of jar with Flex Edge tamper.
If smoothie is too thick, blend in extra splash or two of hemp milk. Blend in honey to taste, if desired. Smoothie is best if served right away.
