Ingredients
Sauce
- 6 Tablespoons unsalted butter , melted
- 1 Tablespoon mustard
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
Hamburgers
- 12 Hawaiian dinner rolls
- 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 Tablespoons BBQ sauce
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 6 slices cheddar cheese , cut in half
Instructions
Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together 6 Tablespoon butter, 1 Tablespoon mustard, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt, and 1 teaspoon sesame seeds. Set aside.
Hamburgers
- Add desired toppings, by removing the top rolls. Place a toothpick in the middle to hold together, if desired. Best served while hot.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and butter a 9×13″ baking dish. Slice Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally using a large bread knife. Make sure to keep the rolls connected to each other while cutting. Once sliced, remove the top section and place on a cutting board. Spread 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise over the inside. Add the bottom section of the rolls to your baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, combine one pound ground beef, 2 Tablespoons BBQ sauce, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Divide and press beef mixture into 12 small patties. In a skillet over medium heat, cook about 2 minutes per side, or until the center is no longer pink.
- In the baking dish, place a patty onto each roll. Add the slices of cheese and cover with top roll section, evenly matching up the rolls.
- Pour sauce evenly over the rolls. Let sit about 10 minutes for sauce to soak in.
- Cover sliders with foil and bake 10 to 15 minutes. Uncover and cook an additional 2 minutes to brown the top of the rolls.
