Chikoo Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 tin Nestlé MILKMAID
  • 250 gms Chikoos
  • 300 ml Fresh Cream

How to make Chikoo Ice Cream

  • Step 1: Mash the peeled & de-seeded chikoos, using an electric blender or mixie.
  • Step 2: In a bowl, combine Nestlé MILKMAID, fresh cream and chikoo purée. Whisk until the mixture thickens. Set it in freezer till half set. Remove and whisk again until smooth. Doing so will help keep the texture of the ice cream soft and creamy while it sets.
  • Step 3: Return to freezer and set completely. Serve chilled.

Tips to make Chikoo Ice Cream

  • For the best flavour, use fully ripe Chikoos that are soft to touch. The ripe fruit will have a sweet, caramel-like flavor that is perfect for Chikoo Ice Cream recipe.
  • Place the mixture in the refrigerator and chill for at least 360 minutes to help the flavours meld together and make it easier to scoop the ice cream later.
  • Blend the Chikoos in an electric blender until the mixture becomes smooth.
