Japanese green tea leaf

Ingredients

  1. old Japanese green tea kept for a long time
  2. or season-off Japanese green tea

Cooking Instructions

  1. Some flavourless old Japanese green tea, the JGT that you kept in a tin or bag for a long time, etc. Do not throw them to the bin or compost. (However, the tea and coffee are really good for your healthy veg bed)
  2. Put the old tea in a pan (wok, frying pan etc) and roast gently with low heat until light brown colour. Stir occasionally. Not to burn!!
  3. Spread the roasted tea on a newspaper or sheet. Dry it completely.
    Keep the tea in a container, tightly rid on. The tea hate moisture.
  4. How to brew the tea,,,,, just like an ordinary black tea!!! You can use a hot water, even it was Gyokuro or sencha. The roasted tea called Hoji-cha. Enjoy your refreshed and revived Japanese green tea!!
