Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 lemon wedge (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. First, keep all ingredients ready. Keep water to boil. Once it starts boiling.
  2. Add fresh grated ginger. Add turmeric powder. Allow it to boil. Add cinnamon powder. Boil till water reduces. And all herbs are nicely blended. Nice aroma comes out. Switch off the flame.
  3. Use tea filter to filter the tea. Add honey. Mix well.
  4. Turmeric tea is ready to serve. If you like put lemon wedges. Its an optional.
