Instant Pot Apple Pie Moonshine

Ingredients

  • 10-12 Pint Mason Jars (sterilized)
  • 64 oz Apple Juice
  • 64 oz Apple Cider
  • 3/4 cup White Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups Everclear (Grain Alcohol) *
  • 1 1/2 Cups Caramel Vodka (you can use another complimentary flavor) **
  • 14 Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1 TSP Pumpkin Spice

Instructions

  1. Combine the apple cider and apple juice, by pouring it into your pot.
  2. Add in the white sugar, brown sugar & pumpkin pie spice.
  3. Add in 4 Cinnamon Sticks
  4. Turn on Saute feature to start warming the mixture.
  5. Once sugars are all dissolved, cover the pot and turn to sealing.
  6. Set your pot to manual high pressure for 45 minutes. Do a natural release
  7. Let mixture cool completely (DO NOT PROCEED WITH ANY STEPS UNTIL MIXTURE IS ROOM TEMPERATURE TO COOL)
  8. Add in Everclear
  9. Add in Vodka
  10. Remove cinnamon sticks that were used for cooking.
  11. Fill a mason jar (also not a hot one, if you have sterilized it allow it to cool completely) with moonshine and drop one cinnamon stick in.
  12. Close the lid tightly
  13. Put pretty ribbon on and give the gift of love this year
