Air fryer potato slices

Ingredients

  • 350 g white potatoes
  • 15 ml oil of choice or olive oil spray
  • Salt and pepper
  • Seasoning of choice – see above for some suggestions

Instructions

  1. Peel your potatoes if you like to.
  2. Wash thoroughly.
  3. Slice into 1/2 cm thick slices (1/5 inch thick).
  4. Pat your potato slices dry and then place the slices into a mixing bowl.
  5. To the potato slices add the oil and your seasoning of choice. You could use just salt and black pepper if you want to but I love to use Old Bay, Paprika or cajun seasoning.
  6. Mix well to ensure that all the slices are coated thoroughly.
  7. Lay the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  8. Air fry at 200C (395F approx) for 8 minutes.
  9. Flip the potato slices.
  10. Air fry at 200C (395F approx) for a further 6-8 minutes.
  11. Check back near the end of the cooking time to ensure that the potato slices are not burning.
