Ingredients
- 350 g white potatoes
- 15 ml oil of choice or olive oil spray
- Salt and pepper
- Seasoning of choice – see above for some suggestions
Instructions
- Peel your potatoes if you like to.
- Wash thoroughly.
- Slice into 1/2 cm thick slices (1/5 inch thick).
- Pat your potato slices dry and then place the slices into a mixing bowl.
- To the potato slices add the oil and your seasoning of choice. You could use just salt and black pepper if you want to but I love to use Old Bay, Paprika or cajun seasoning.
- Mix well to ensure that all the slices are coated thoroughly.
- Lay the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 200C (395F approx) for 8 minutes.
- Flip the potato slices.
- Air fry at 200C (395F approx) for a further 6-8 minutes.
- Check back near the end of the cooking time to ensure that the potato slices are not burning.
