Date Nut Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup loosely packed baby spinach
  • 3/4 cup plain 2-percent-fat Greek yogurt
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 15 pecan halves
  • 1/2 large ripe banana, peeled, cut into chunks, and frozen
  • 1 medjool date, pitted
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation

  1. In a blender, puree all ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to serve.
