Vietnamese Chicken Sandwich
INGREDIENTS
- 1 loaf of bread, preferably a short baguette
- 300 grams chicken breast
- 0.5 onions
- 0.5 turnip
- 0.5 carrot
- 0.5 cucumber
- 0.5 cup rice vinegar
- Herbs: parsley, basil, scallion, etc.
- 10 ml soy sauce
- 5 ml oyster sauce
- 5 ml sesame oil
- 5 ml honey
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- Mayonnaise
- Fresh chilies
- Olive oil
- Minced garlic
DIRECTIONS
- Cut the turnip, carrot, and onion into thin slices and pickle them for 15 minutes.
- Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips and marinate them for 15 minutes.
- Cook the chicken breasts on medium-high heat for 10 minutes.
- Split the bread lengthwise and fill it with the chicken, pickles, thinly peeled cucumber ribbons, mayonnaise, herbs, fresh chilies, and seasonings.
