Ingredient
- 1 medium Onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 small Green chili (finely chopped, adjust to taste)
- 1 sprig Curry leaves (chopped)
- 1 tsp Red chili powder (or to taste)
- 3/4 – 1 cup Besan/Chickpea flour (use as needed. )
- 2 tbsps Corainder leaves/Cilantro (chopped)
- 2-3 tbsps water
- 1-2 tbsps Oil (I used Oil spray)
- Salt (to taste)
FOR GARNISH
- 1 tsp Chaat masala (to sprinkle while serving)
- 1 tbsp Corainder leaves/Cilantro (to garnish)
PREPARATION
- Preheat the Airfryer at 360F for 5-10 mins.
- Mix all the main ingredients except water.
- If needed slowly add water tbsp by tbsp, mix the ingredients so that the onions get nicely coated with the flour and spices.
- Now the mixture should be sticky when you touch with finger and just wet.
AIR FRYING
- Now place a aluminium foil in the air fryer basket. Grease the foil with oil.
- Now spread the mixture onto the foil into a single thin layer.
- spray the top of mixture with oil
- Fry the pakora for 15 – 20 mins at 400F ( or as needed) .
- Half way remove the foil and let the pakoras fry on the basket itself, this makes the pakoras more crispy.
- Once pakoras are crispy, take them onto a plate. Sprinkle garnishing ingredients and serve hot with Ketchup or Chutney.!!
